Note: the traditional Google search will not bring you to where you need to go. There is no need to worry as there are several ways to get into Marist Mail from your computer and onto your phone. However, over the past three weeks it seems that many students have been confused on how to access Marist Mail and are missing important emails because of this switch. Maybe the biggest addition is the app that you can download straight to your phone. Additionally, you are able to look up any student, professor, or administrator to get in contact with through Marist Mail. It is full of features such as: messaging, communities, contacts, calendar integration. ![]() Marist Mail addresses a lot of the improvements that students were looking for in FoxMail. Marist Mail is replacing FoxMail as FoxMail was in great need of a major overhaul and will no longer be a service for students starting in November. NOTE: These are the main features of the Foxmail system. To use your contact list, compose a new message. From here you can search your address book for a contact as well as browse and add contacts to your address book using the buttons along the top of your screen. To access your Address Book, click on the Address Book button on the top of your screen. ![]() Entries made in this address book are NOT linked to any other contact list. This is an electronic address book that can be accessed anytime from any machine as long as the machine can access the web. Choose the identity you'd like to edit and edit your signature. In order to edit your signature file, click on the Options button at the top of your screen, then click "Personal Information" under the "Your Information" section. Most people use signature files to state their full name and other contact information, but it is not required. Signature files are a few lines of text that the system will automatically include at the end of your email. The use of folders helps organize large amounts of incoming mail and provides you with the means to find theose important emails quickly when they are needed the most.Īs with most email systems, a signature file is included with Foxmail. Other features available when replying or composing a mail message include Spell Check and Attachment. Notice that a reply will include the text of the original message. When you click Reply to respond to a mail message, the following window will appear: To read a specific mail message, position your mouse over the message you'd like to view and click.īy clicking on a specific message in your inbox you are brought to the following view. Once you log in you will be immediately brought to the INBOX view where you can see all new mail received. In order to jump to other features in Foxmail, use the navigation buttons along the top of your screen. Select the Change/update password link found on the logon page.Įnter the required information. Initial or Temporary passwords MUST be changed before logging on. Please call the Help Desk if you need specific information on the email system you have been provided. Logon to Foxmail as specified by your Marist Information Technology account lettere. Please call the Help Desk at 84 (HELP) to obtain a tempoary password which will allow you to change it.
